Scottish Championships 2013

We are now only two weeks away from this year’s Scottish Championships which are being held in Ravenscraig Sports Centre, Motherwell on Sunday 24th February 2013.

This year’s competition will be much busier than any previous years with a record number of gymnasts competing.  Doors will open at 8.30am and tickets for spectators are priced at £5.00 for adults and £3.00 for children.  The competition will start at 9.30am and finish at approximately 6.30pm.  The programme for the competition will be available for you to have a look through at any session from tomorrow if you speak to a coach at the end of training.

The gym is to the right and at the end of the corridor when you enter the centre.  There will be a photographer there on the day and there will also be a Milano stall with leotards and shorts for sale.

Two sessions will be used before the Scottish as full dress rehearsals for the competition – Sunday 17th February and Friday 22nd February at Avondale.  Gymnasts should wear their competition leotards if they have their own and should have their hair as they will have it on the day of the Scottish.  If gymnasts require competition leotards they will be provided on this occasion by the club. This means that all gymnasts within a partnership must have matching hair and leotards for these two sessions.

If you have any questions, please speak to a coach at the end of training. Thank you.
