Winter Wonderland

Well done to all of our gymnasts who attended our display dress rehearsal yesterday! You all worked really hard and we’re sure you’ll be amazing on Saturday.  For the display gymnasts should be dropped at Avondale, Donaldson Road, ML9 2SS at 16:00 on Saturday 10th December.  Doors won’t be open to spectators until 17:45 to allow  gymnasts time to warm up and practice.  Gymnasts should bring everything they were given yesterday – leotard, cropped tops, T-shirts, tutus and black shorts (please note each item is not applicable to all gymnasts).  All gymnasts should bring black shorts with them for march in.  All gymnasts should have hair in buns – they will be given a scrunchie on arrival.  Please note – there is no training on Saturday morning at Meadowburn or Dynamite.

If you would like a DVD of the display please ensure you see Debbie or Sharon at the end of any training session to order your copy for just £15.00. We need final numbers for the end of the week so get your orders in quickly.  Please pass this message on as we don’t want anyone to miss out!

We are looking for donations for our home baking staff and raffle at the display.  If these can be dropped off on Saturday when gymnasts arrive for warm up that would be great.  We’re a non-profit organisation and all profits raised from the club will be used to purchase new equipment for our gymnasts.  Your support is much appreciated.

Thank you to everyone who has helped so far with the display organisation and costumes.  This is a big event which takes a lot of planning! Also, a big thank you to everyone who has volunteered to help on the day.  It is very much appreciated! We would ask that people stay behind after the display to help clear away the hall – we need as many helpers as possible.

Well done to Amy Gibson and Sarah Harper who won our Christmas hampers.  We raised a massive £140.00 for our Christmas party prize fund.  We have bought lots and lots of prizes so we can spoil all of our gymnasts! The Christmas party is being held at The Leisuredrome on Thursday 15th December 18:00 – 20:30 – all gymnasts are invited.

Finally, if anyone has any spare tickets for the display please advise a coach asap.  Thank you!
